about

"in search of" is the first track on my forthcoming album.

it is a beginning, a starting point.

the song "in search of" is about emerging from isolation after remaining there for so long that language is forgotten. you open your mouth and wonder if words are coming out. much like recording. creating music from start to finish completely by myself, i tend to wonder if any of it makes sense. i used these remixes as a practice. as a place to make mistakes. to try new genres. to have fun. to leave the house.

each track is a location. each track ventures further and further from home (texas) and ends up outside of neptune.
